Dolly Dim Sum @ NU Sentral

There’s something rather yesteryear about Dolly Dim Sum’s décor what with the bird cages hanging above. Looking at the queue during lunch time at their NU Sentral outlet, I can see that it is one of the more popular restaurants and no wonder as it caters to all races, Dolly Dim Sum is pork-free.

I thought that the Cheong Fun strips were small and narrow which means not much filling. The “Siew Mai” was average tasting but reasonably sized. My favourites were the Spicy Szechuan Dumpling and Chewy Meat Croquette. The Chilled Longan Sea Coconut with Lime Juice is refreshing and great for cooling down on hot days which is like every single day here. On the whole, average dim sum but they do have a good variety on the menu.
