If I can’t get to Paris, I’d love it if someone from Paris came to town and so it was that I had the opportunity of meeting Decleor International Trainer, Alexia. Now here is the embodiment of Parisian effortless glamour and sophistication. Alexia has such beautiful skin and she dresses like a style maven, she looks amazing and I bet she isn’t even trying. If this is how one looks after using Decleor, I want it all.
Anyway, I was invited to Spasia Institut for a skin analysis followed by a consultation with the incredibly lovely Alexia (can’t help it, anyone who has seen Alexia will gush about her too). Honestly, I have never met a more gorgeous woman with glasses until I met Alexia. She is STUNNING and if you told me she is a famous French actress, I’d believe that.
After perusing my skin analysis results (I have combination skin, not too dry but with oily T-zone), Alexia prescribed some Decleor products suitable for me. Decleor facial treatments are seriously good because of the scent of the products. They take a very holistic approach as they focus on the mind, body and skin whereas some brands are just focusing on skin.
Decleor Soothing Serum is for day care. This is the 1st skincare to be applied after cleansing. This 100% natural, fine and silky serum-oil is enriched with essential oils of Rose, Neroli, Petitgrain and Camomile. It softens and comforts sensitive skin. Has the most divine scent.
Decleor Hydra Floral Anti-pollution hydrating active lotion may look like a toner but it is not a toner. This is applied after the Soothing Serum as it will enhance the efficacy of moisturizer to follow.
Decleor Hydra Floral Anti-pollution hydrating gel-cream has a unique texture, very light yet hydrating. Has the scent of neroli and moringa extract.
I haven’t seen a yellow eye cream until I saw Decleor Aroma Lisse 2-in-1 dark circle and eye wrinkle eraser. This “wrinkle eraser” is enriched with Mandarin Essential Oil. It combines an action on wrinkles and dark circles with an enhancing action to create an immediate beauty boost. Paraben free. Free from mineral oils. Can also be used as an eye mask or even overnight eye mask.
Decleor Hydra Floral ultra-moisturizing and plumping mask is a cream mask that provides a real moisturising bath for the most dehydrated skin. Its unique sensorial texture transforms into a fine oil when massaged into the skin. Paraben free. Free from mineral oils. Free from artificial colourings. Love the texture as the oil really benefits my dry skin. One of the best hydrating masks I have ever tried.
For night time, instead of the Soothing Serum, Alexia recommends the Aroma Night iris rejuvenating night balm. A very small amount is needed for each application so even though the jar looks small, it goes a long way. Love this product as it smells so good.
