IKEA Malaysia is calling all LEGO® lovers to expand their creativity with the new BYGGLEK collection, a play storage solution and a LEGO® brick set unique to IKEA. Set to make its way to local stores on 12 March 2021, the long-awaited collection includes LEGO® boxes in various sizes and one brick set comprising of 200 LEGO® pieces in various colours, shapes and sizes, alongside one practical tool.
Created with an aim to encourage play and infuse more fun into storage around the home, the new BYGGLEK collection is created for builders of all ages. As an ideal collection to kick-start a playful experience, the BYGGLEK boxes are equipped with LEGO® studs on the top and the front, allowing fans to integrate the storage boxes as part of their LEGO® builds. Multiple boxes can also be connected to create a masterpiece. As the studs used on the lid and front are part of the LEGO® system in play, BYGGLEK can be used with any existing and future LEGO® elements.
In recognising the power of play, the new collection allows both kids and adults to explore, experiment and discover – all while simultaneously encouraging kids to tidy up after playtime is over. Once they are done building, the drawer beneath the lid allows kids to stash unused and loose bricks. Matching perfectly with other IKEA products, the collection can also be used as a unique piece of decoration at home, allowing kids and adults to proudly display their builds on top of the boxes.
Priced at RM79.90 for the large-size box with lid, RM69.90 for the medium-size box with lid, and RM69.90 for a set of three small-size storage boxes, the creative storage boxes will create more room for play while inspiring a better everyday for the many. The 201-piece LEGO® brick set part of the BYGGLEK collection is sold separately and priced at RM79.90. All items from this collection, including the LEGO® brick set are available exclusively at IKEA Malaysia, in-store starting 12 March 2021 (purchase is limited to 2 pieces per customer) and available online* starting 18 March 2021.
