APOM Kicks Off “Malaysia’s Biggest Poster Hunt” To Initiate The Exciting #Empatbelas2024 Campaign

In a world overrun by global brands, there is a quiet revolution happening in the heart of Malaysia. A revolution of pride, humor, and authenticity. It is a movement spearheaded by a brand unapologetically Malaysian – APOM, short for A Piece of Malaysia.

The local brand has made its mark capturing the essence of Malaysia in every thread, every design, and every piece of merchandise. From the cheeky slang that makes Malaysians chuckle to the everyday moments that define daily lives, APOM has managed to bottle the spirit of Malaysia and label it with flair.
This year, APOM proudly announces the return of #Empatbelas, an annual Merdeka-Malaysia Day initiative celebrating not just local talent but also the vibrant spirit and pride of Malaysia’s 14 states through the unity of art and cultural diversity.

Once again enlisting 14 of Malaysia’s most talented creative minds via its #Empatbelas campaign, APOM showcases a collection of reimagined home states as iconic movie posters. This innovative twist brings together humor, creativity, and state pride in a way that has never been seen before.

To kick off the celebrations and get enthusiastic patriots on the go, APOM is introducing “Malaysia’s Biggest Poster Hunt.” Starting today, APOM will release clues about one poster daily on social media, while physically placing it at a well-known landmark in the corresponding state. Participants will have to decipher these clues to locate the iconic posters, capture creative photos or videos with them, and share their content on Instagram or TikTok using the hashtags #empatbelas2024 #malaysiabiggestposterhunt. Those who participate will stand a chance to win exclusive, limited-edition #Empatbelas prizes.

“Over the years, #Empatbelas has spotlighted 42 creative talents from across Malaysia, fostering immense state pride. This year’s campaign saw over 50 enthusiastic entries from designers nationwide, highlighting the rich diversity and talent we celebrate,” said Chantelle Teoh, Co-Founder of APOM. “We are excited to see Malaysians come together, uncover hidden gems in their states, and engage in this dynamic celebration of our culture and heritage.”

To be part of “Malaysia’s Biggest Poster Hunt,” follow APOM’s social media channels for daily clues. Embark on this exhilarating journey, discover the posters, snap creative photos or videos, and share them using the hashtags #empatbelas2024 #malaysiabiggestposterhunt So, set your alarms and get ready to explore the iconic landmarks of your state starting today.

Dive into this vibrant celebration of Malaysia’s cultural diversity and be among the first to capture the unique designs before they’re gone. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to showcase your state pride and win fantastic prizes with APOM’s #empatbelas2024 campaign.
