My Bowen Therapy @ Etiqa Twins : Slowly But Surely (Hopefully)

20220421_113120It’s been over 2 months since my 1st session at My Bowen Therapy Etiqa Twins for my heel spur problem. During the later sessions, it did get better, I just completed my 8th session last Thursday with therapist, Hafiy who has been so professional and nice during every session. When the gap between sessions was 2 weeks, the therapy did help alleviate the ache but for the later sessions, the gap was 3 weeks. That might be too long a gap as I can feel the ache returning. If budget allows, I would go every 2 weeks.

The alternative is heel surgery which is very expensive (about RM15k) and it’d take weeks to recover. The therapists at My Bowen helped me wrap my leg in bandages like a splint to lessen the impact on my heel when I walk or stand. However, this can sometimes cause my ankle to itch so I have to remove it after a few days.

When going for My Bowen Therapy, it may have faster results for some people. I think that in my case, the process of an ache-free heel is slow. I haven’t given up yet because it’s better than not doing something about it, in which case it might get worse. Even having 1 session a month is preferable to no session at all.

My therapist is always solicitous, he shows genuine concern for my condition. Actually, having been there for so many sessions, I can tell all their therapists are good at their work and are committed to getting the best results for their clients.
