Right after the stroke of midnight on 11.11, I went to Lazada Malaysia to order 3 hair masks which I’d picked earlier (I had a RM30 voucher to redeem which could only be used on 11.11). Tried to pay for the products but was stuck, message kept coming up saying there was a network failure or payment couldn’t be processed. I gave up after trying a few times.
Next morning, I tried my luck again and this time, a different message came up when I tried to pay. It said that certain credit cards couldn’t be used so I just had to pay the balance in cash. That made me want to buy less so I changed my mind and chose L’Oreal Paris Botanicals Safflower Rich Infusion Hair Mask @ RM33.
Yesterday, I read on Free Malaysia Today that I wasn’t alone, some customers complained that their purchases were listed as “pending payment” when they’d already received notification from their banks that money had been deducted from their accounts. At least that didn’t happen to me.
As of this morning though, my order is still being processed by L’Oreal Malaysia when I’d expected them to ship by now. Another smaller supplier on a different online shopping website has already shipped my order via Poslaju, thumbs up for their efficiency unlike this one.
