Before I purchase a Groupon voucher, I like to do a bit of research. If I can’t find any reviews on the establishment, then I’ll go to their Facebook page as there’re bound to be a few customer comments and that way, I can assess whether I want to go ahead with the voucher purchase.
After more than a year of not purchasing a Groupon voucher due to a few lousy experiences last year, I finally plucked up the courage to purchase a voucher for colouring at Rokit Salon Sri Petaling. I knew approximately where the salon is since I used to frequent a mixed rice store there years ago.
My appointment was at 1pm and I was punctual. They wasted no time in ushering me to a seat The salon is neat and tidy, minimalistic with no clutter and unnecessary decorations. There’re no tables in front of the seats which means you get full length reflection. There’re side tables and you can keep your bag in a closet near your seat. They brought out the colours for me to choose – rather limited but adequate if you aren’t keen on dramatic colours. Most of the colours are either browns or reds. I had to go with a darker shade of mahogany since I needed grey coverage.
The entire process took 1.5 hours and this included the application of treatment at the sink. Speedy and efficient service. I’d go back there again as the staff are friendly and the owner of the salon, Kim Ng will advise you very well on what styles suit you.
