Old Siam One Utama

Old Siam One Utama

This is my 2nd visit to Old Siam One Utama which is a popular café for lunch at that shopping mall. On this 2nd visit, I ordered their Tom Yam Kai which comes with an egg and bowl of Tom Yam Kai. The Tom Yam looks fiery hot and actually it is. You can practically smell the lemongrass and kaffir limes leaves in the flaming spicy soup.

I wish I could say there was a generous portion of chicken strips and mushrooms in it but I can’t. I’d eaten all the chicken and mushrooms and there was still rice left so I just had to finish the rest of the rice with the almost-too-spicy-to-be-consumed Tom Yam soup.
