Suria KLCC sure knows how to indulge the media. In continuation with their Media Indulgence Days, this being their 3rd such event themed ‘Independent Women In And Out’, the mall collaborated with retail partners such as DNT Beauty Hair Salon, GNC and Fitness Concept to bring a fun and empowering evening to women showing independent women how to take charge of their own body and beauty.
Beauty Hair Salon demonstrated some hair styles on a model and yours truly. The styles look simple but I would baulk at having to do it myself as I’ve never been creative with my hair beyond straightening it out of necessity. Wan showed how good women can look with the right hair style.
I didn’t expect Wan to demo on my hair and it was a surprise but I truly liked my style as it looks so neat, chic and sophisticated so thanks Wan for being so very nice and I’ve got to come and see you at DNT soon for a complete overhaul.
Shiseido hair styling products were used during the DNT demo. The red bottle is a primer which is sprayed on before the rest of styling products to protect hair and enhance the efficacy of following products, it has the same kind of effect as face/eyeshadow primers.
We had a very entertaining talk by the presenter from GNC who shared guidelines and tips on eating healthy with the right foods and supplements. It’s okay to indulge in sugary foods but just don’t over-indulge!
Fitness Concept demonstrated simple exercises that can be done at home or at the office, even when you don’t have much space to stretch out.
GNC is located on the Concourse level of Suria KLCC, Fitness Concept is on the third floor and DNT Beauty Salon is on the fourth floor.
