Wild Ferns products are produced by Parrs Products Ltd of New Zealand (est. 1951). The company’s products can be found at many souvenir shops throughout New Zealand, I saw them in so many shops from North to South Island that I was quite familiar with their ranges. They offer skincare products with key ingredients unique to New Zealand such as Rotorua’s thermal mud which has therapeutic properties. I might even have purchased a Manuka Honey mask from Parrs.
The Wild Ferns Manuka Honey Revitalising Body Wash is a gentle daily body wash containing pure Active Manuka AAH (Antibacterial, Antioxidant Honey) 650+. As expected, the scent is rather sweet and can be a little cloying at times.
The body wash isn’t thick and it’s best to use it with a bath sponge if you like a lot of foam. The foam is indeed very gentle and there’s a fair amount of it with not much body wash needed. While it doesn’t leave my skin feeling dry, this isn’t going to be one of my favourite body washes because I am not a fan of the scent.
