While Dermalogica®’s Daily Microfoliant is suitable for daily use, their Gentle Cream Exfoliant appears to be a stronger exfoliant recommended for use once or twice a week. This is a non-abrasive, gentle exfoliant treatment that removes dulling surface debris. It contains alpha and beta hydroxy acids and natural fruit exzymes for detaching dead skin cells and to help stimulate cell renewal.
It’s creamy and to be left on for 10-15 minutes so it’s a mask exfoliant. I don’t feel any stinging but then again I don’t have sensitive skin. The scent could be better as it just smells slightly chemical but tolerable. It contains apricot kernel oil, lavender oil and lemon extract but it doesn’t smell fruity. I wish it did.
After washing it off, my skin is a lot smoother and softer. It’s really very gentle so it’s good for anyone who doesn’t like abrasive scrubs or exfoliants that may contain harsh granules.
