The highlights of the “Fairy Tale Weddings” Bridal Fair at Saujana Hotel Kuala Lumpur were the Lucky Draw and the Keith Kee Fashion Show which I was certainly looking forward to as I’d seen the photos of the designer’s gowns in The Star recently. The Grand Prize of the Lucky Draw was the jaw-dropping wedding dress on the mannequin above worth RM8,888.00.

Too bad invited media were not given a number for the Lucky Draw otherwise I might have had a slim chance too. Anyway, the lucky winner of the gorgeous wedding gown fit for a princess was this gentleman holding the envelope (pic below) who made his wife-to-be a very happy girl.

Keith Kee’s Fashion Show extravaganza comprised 11 models (made and female) led by Malaysia’s numero uno supermodel Ms. Amber Chia who looked radiant despite being under the weather. This is Keith Kee’s Spring/Summer 2012 Collection and consisted of 33 pieces divided into 3 parts:-

• Evening Gown/Avant Garde
• Cheongsam
• Wedding Gown

The gowns are embellished with Swarovski crystals and the materials used are chiffon, duchesse satin, organza, shantung silk. The style has a classic, glamorous concept and is inspired by the 1960s and 1970s era.

Just when I thought it couldn’t possibly get any better than what I’d already seen, it did with the incredibly beautiful wedding gowns and smart looking grooms…….

If I wasn’t already standing throughout the entire show, I’d have given a standing ovation as I was totally blown away by the creations!
