This Brightening Cleansing Cream is from Kiehl’s whitening range and contains whitening actives derived from the Plum Fruit and Botanical extracts, as well as Ascorbyl Glucoside. It promises a brighter, more luminous appearance while drawing away dead surface skin cells.
I thought this would be a thickish cream cleanser but it’s actually got quite a fluid texture. There’s bits of something contained within the cleanser. Unlike the Surface Brightening Exfoliator in the same range, I wasn’t exactly fond of the Cleansing Cream’s scent.
It’s not to be used on the eye area, It gives an effective cleanse of make-up but I didn’t find it particularly moisturising or brightening. This review is not based on just one sachet, I have a few sample sachets of this cleanser but I didn’t like this one as much as the Surface Brightening Exfoliator which for me, remains the star product of the Ultimate White range. I had to use the entire sachet each time I cleansed.
Ultimate White Brightening Cleansing Cream comes in a 150ml tube and should be more than RM105 as Strawberrynet is already selling it for RM108. However, Kiehl’s Ultimate White range has been discontinued and replaced by their new Clearly Corrective range (more on that later).
