Fragment invites art lovers, collectors and the public to experience Fragments of a Season, a thoughtfully curated exhibition that brings together a distinguished line-up of contemporary artists in a celebration of memory, transformation and the quiet beauty found in everyday life.
Held at Eslite Spectrum, Level 1, The Starhill, Kuala Lumpur, from 1 July to 30 September 2026, the exhibition explores how fleeting moments become lasting memories through diverse artistic expressions spanning figurative art, abstraction, landscapes, still life, sculptures and mixed media.

Inspired by the changing qualities of light and the passage of time, Fragments of a Season invites visitors to pause and reflect on the beauty that often goes unnoticed. Each artwork captures a fragment of experience, emotion or observation, encouraging viewers to reconnect with moments that transcend seasons and generations.
The exhibition features an exceptional line-up of artists including Eng Tay, Lau Wai Leng, Soon Lai Wai, Voon Kim Cheong, Nizar Kamal Ariffin, Dennis Chan, Tony Ng, Yann Indigo Room, Yusof Gajah, Alexdrina Chong, Lim Kok Peng, Maamor Jantan, Lui Cheng Thak, Yap Chin Hoe and Ajis Mohamad. Collectively, their works present a rich tapestry of Malaysian artistic perspectives while celebrating the country’s vibrant creative landscape.

Leading the exhibition is internationally acclaimed Malaysian-born artist Eng Tay, whose distinguished career spans more than four decades. Born in Kedah and now based in New York, Eng Tay is renowned for his poetic figurative paintings and sculptures that celebrate family, music, relationships and the shared experiences of everyday life. His works have been exhibited extensively across the United States, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia, and are housed in prestigious museums, institutions and private collections around the world.
Eng Tay’s signature rounded figures, expressive colours and emotionally resonant compositions have become instantly recognisable influenced by his travels through South America and Indonesia, his paintings transform ordinary moments into timeless stories of love, compassion and human connection. Beyond his artistic achievements, Eng Tay has also demonstrated a deep commitment to community through charitable collaborations, including fundraising efforts supporting women and children in need.
