Keith Kee Couture will be ushering the new year of the Fire Horse with “Galloping in Blossoms”, a Spring / Summer 2026 Chinese New Year collection, which the fashion house debuted with much glitz and glamour, to over 200 guests, at Le Meridien Petaling Jaya.
In an exclusive collaboration with Poh Kong Jewellers- Malaysia’s largest jeweller, the evening witnessed a showcase of 30 exquisite ensembles; which included stylish semi-cocktail cheongsam pieces, trendy and classy party attires, as well as elegant couture cheongsam designs. Each winning look was of course complemented with masterfully crafted jewellery and precious gemstones from Poh Kong, which married two creative worlds in a dazzling celebration of class, sophistication, and luxury.

Paying homage to the exciting festivities of horse racing, fashion designer Keith Kee created an array of designs which showcased the electric atmosphere between both horse jockeys and race day guests, drawing inspiration from the classic and timeless aspects of the sociable sport. The captivating collection predominantly embraced the upcoming 2026 colour trends of gold, light blue, mustard, orange, and pink, palettes.
The classy overarching cheongsam designs are intertwined with the structured flows of jackets and corsets, as well as pants, while handmade floral motives and sophisticated tassels provided the final touches of embellishments worthy of the equestrian championships. The presentation models, which boasted of celebrity model Amber Chia as well as Malaysia Supermodel Search 2025 winners, all donned smart ponytails worn high up, paired with chic fascinators, and were also styled with fashionable horse whips in their grips to complete the ultimate embodiments of horse racing.

Sharing about his creative stimulation for this collection, Kee paid considerable focus to the strong characteristics of horses which express drive, dynamism, freedom, and speed. He remarked, “When wearing a Keith Kee Couture design, not only do I want my customers to look their best selves, but I also hope that they will be able to always stand tall and project plentiful self-confidence as they walk into any room.”
This grand celebration of the Keith Kee Couture Spring / Summer 2026 Chinese New Year collection would not have been possible without its collaborator Poh Kong Jewellers, along with generous sponsors: Runway Productions, Backstage Academy, A Cut Above, Prance, Xposure Production, and Le Meridien Petaling Jaya.
