Guest Review : Sephora Hydrating Powder Blush

It’s been some time since we had a guest review here. I love passing products to anyone who’d like to review them as it gives me a lot of enjoyment to read someone else’s review. This time, I’m very fortunate to have Fatin as my guest reviewer. I’d passed her Sephora’s Hydrating Powder Blush which has some fine glitter particles in it making it a very pretty blush. Here’s Fatin’s review:-

Sephora brought in quite a big range of products from the Sephora Collection when it hit KL. But I noticed that they only have a limited choice of the Colourful Blush, maybe about 4 shades. There are 12 shades when I checked out online! Been meaning to try it out but never got around to it. But lucky me I recently received one in Raspberry Sheen (No 12). Yayy!

Raspberry Sheen is a rich rosey brown with silver shimmer. Don’t let the shimmer bit turn you off though. The shimmer particles are so fine that it gives a subtle glow instead of a disco ball effect. This blush has a great texture! It’s light and fine making it easy to blend. For a natural day look, apply one layer for a luminous glow or opt for a more intense colour with 2-3 layers for an evening look.

It’s long lasting too. I put this on some time in the morning and about 7 hours later it’s still there. The colour may not be as obvious as the first few hours but it was still there. I’m pretty impressed. For the price it’s definitely a great alternative to high end brands.

This range of blush is paraben free and is enhanced with mineral and organic pigments, making application much smoother, boosted color intensity and longer wear. It’s available in matte and shimmer finishes. But as I said earlier, choices in Sephora KL are super limited.

Retails at RM49 for 3.2g/0.11oz.
