These were the 2 sheet masks in My Beauty Diary’s Mini Teatime Set. The diagrams and colour on the packaging is quite different from the regular MBD sheet mask as these depict chocolate truffles, tea and macarons. It’s taken me a long time to open them up as they were just too pretty.
But use them up I must otherwise how am I to review them? I had higher expectations of these masks and I wasn’t disappointed in the least. Firstly, the texture of both masks is ultra-thin. I love how moist they were and how tightly they adhered to my skin.
Secondly, they lasted a long time – 1.5 hours. I know that they are 20 minute treatment masks but I just wanted to test how long it’d be before they started to dry up. The Chocolate Truffle Mask is for moisturizing & softening while the Earl Grey & Macaron Mask is for illuminating & clarifying.
The Chocolate Mask has a stronger scent than the Earl Grey & Macaron Mask. I presume the scent in the latter is of tea although it didn’t smell like Earl Grey Tea. Both masks moisturized, softened and brightened. They were very nice to have on and I’d like to purchase them again if I can find them.
