Sisley Express Flower Gel

I’m not one who believes in making New Year resolutions but this year, I have resolved to use up as many of my skincare samples as possible because my storage spaces are bursting at the seams. So many samples were collected over the past year and even the year before that I simply must get cracking.

Sisley Express Flower Gel was one of a few samples collected from my 3 brief encounters with Sisley. Now this is a brand which not many people talk about here and understandably so because the prices are on par with the likes of La Mer. Then again, it is also on par with SK-II and there seem to be a lot more SK-II fans than Sisley.

During my first encounter with Sisley, I thought that it was like a premium version of Clarins because Sisley uses natural plant extracts and botanical essential oils. I believe that Sisley Express Flower Gel is one of their bestsellers. It is a hydrating mask which has active ingredients of iris, lily, rose and sesame. It has a gel texture and gives an inmediate cooling, refreshing, calming sensation. Also quite a relaxing mask with its flowery scent.

The instructions state that it’s to be left on for 3 minutes (apply to face and throat) and then blot the excess without rinsing. Actually, I didn’t even bother to blot the excess as my skin was looking so glowy, bright and radiant with the mask on.

An incomparable hydrating mask and I wouldn’t mind having the full-sized tube but for the price – RM375 for 60ml which means my little 4ml sachet was worth RM25. Much better than the results from any sheet masks and understandably so. One should get what one pays for.
