NADI WILLER SDN. BHD. (Headquarters: Malaysia, CEO: Ibrahim Aiman Bin Mohd Nadzmi, hereafter “NADI WILLER”), a provider of Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform in Malaysia, is committed to creating a society where people can travel seamlessly even without owning a private car. By introducing Japanese-quality MaaS,
NADI WILLER supplements existing rail and bus systems with its mobi DRT (Demand Responsive Transit) service, delivering seamless journeys using public transportation which reduce car dependency and contribute to easing of traffic congestion.
Addressing Malaysia’s Transport Challenges
Kuala Lumpur city faces serious traffic congestion, particularly due to the lack of reliable first- and last-mile connecting transport. As a result, many have no choice but to rely on private cars, family pick-ups, or e-hailing services. Public transport usage for mid-distance travel also remains limited. In addition, recent bus accidents have heightened public concern for safety.

To address these challenges, NADI WILLER is introducing a MaaS platform that integrates mass transit such as buses and rail with on-demand services like mobi DRT, creating a seamless mobility experience tailored to diverse needs.
Track Record in Malaysia
Since its establishment, NADI WILLER has been operating mobi DRT through its mobile app. As of August 2025, mobi DRT has been deployed in 26 service areas with over 400,000 passengers and more than 100,000 registered members.
According to a recent user survey, more than 88% of riders use mobi DRT as part of their journey to public transport. Before Prior mobi DRT was made available, 47.6% relied on family pick-ups and 24.2% used private cars. These results demonstrate how mobi DRT is changing mobility behavior—reducing private car use and encouraging a shift towards public transport.

To further accelerate this shift, NADI WILLER is launching three new initiatives:
- Journey Planner with Multimodal Search
The mobi app now integrates GTFS and GTFS-RT public transport data for Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. This enables users to combine buses, rail, and mobi DRT in one journey search. With this feature, travelers can easily plan end-to-end trips and connect seamlessly from stations to their destinations. - Launch of mobi CONNECT
On September 1, 2025, NADI WILLER began operating mobi CONNECT, a new mid-distance on-demand service that links one CBD to another CBD area. Users can pre-book rides within designated routes and time slots, while AI calculates the most efficient route and confirms pick-up times in advance. The first service connects Mont Kiara residential areas with LaLaport Bukit Bintang City Centre—a connecting hub for LRT, monorail, and airport shuttles. This reduces reliance on private cars and family pick-ups, while contributing to fewer vehicles on the road through ride-sharing. - Japanese-Quality Safety Management and Driver Training
Responding to growing public concern for safety, NADI WILLER has introduced a driver education and safety management system based on Japanese best practices. Training programs include classroom learning, practical driving sessions, and follow-ups, while safety operations are managed through on-site roll calls, inspections, and the WILLER Fleet system. These measures ensure drivers deliver safe, reliable, and customer friendly services.

Looking Ahead
Through these initiatives, NADI WILLER will continue to enhance public transport accessibility and promote sustainable mobility in Malaysia. By evolving the MaaS platform, the company aims to create new value for cities and contribute to building a more sustainable society where everyone can move freely.
This project is supported by Japan’s FY2023 Global South Initiative supplementary budget. ※ DRT refers to Demand-Responsive Transit.
