The most important features of body butters (for me anyway) is that they should be hydrating without being too thick and rich and I have to like the scent. After all, the scent will linger on my skin after my shower. There are many types of body butters out there, some are quite pricey.
Jane’s Cottage Soaps Body Butter contains shea butter, coconut oil and lavender essential oil. It’s very light and not too thick, has an uplifting lavender scent and deeply hydrating. However, I found it a bit too oily upon application, perhaps because Jane is very generous with the ingredients including the coconut oil.
