Everyone who uses mascara wants more volume for their lashes. It is only when lashes are volumized that they stand out. Guerlain Cils D’enfer Maxi Lash formula promises breathtaking volume, curl and hold due to the combined action of three polymers: the first is coating, the second is softening and the third is setting.
I tried this mascara during the recent Guerlain workshop and although I had before and after photos of my lashes, I decided not to post them as the lighting was too dim and you can’t really see the difference. The thing that impressed me most about this mascara was how black it is. You get intense colour with a deep black pigment.
With its bevelled, facetted shape, the brush easily coats every lash down to the tiniest and lashes look instantly bigger. It does curl up lashes even if you don’t use an eyelash curler but of course if you want or need longer lasting hold, then use a curler. I don’t think it’s suitable for me though as there were smudges under my eyes after a few hours.
is it heavy? The mascara does looked heavy to me.
Not that bad, doesn’t clump lashes but I can’t have this since it smudges on me.
