First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Face Cream SPF 30

Sometimes to save time in the mornings, I apply moisturisers which contain sunscreen. One of these is First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Face Cream SPF 30. SPF 30 is high enough if I’m not going to be spending that much time outdoors. I don’t think there are many moisturisers out there with SPF 30, let alone SPF 50.

FAB products don’t contain harsh chemicals and known allergens, including parabens, phthalates, alcohol, fragrances and artificial dyes. All the products are infused with the brand’s signature FAB Antioxidant Booster – a powerful botanical antioxidant cocktail that combats free radicals. Living in a city that has quite a lot of pollution everywhere (and that is an understatement), I need all the antioxidants I can get.

Why 5-in-1? Because there are 5 benefits in this Face Cream, namely:-

  • prevents and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
  • corrects uneven skin tone.
  • filters UVA/UVB rays with SPF 30.
  • nourishes and moisturises.
  • combats free radicals.

I like the fact that it comes in a pump bottle and not in a tub/jar. However, one pump is rather a lot and too much so I have to press the pump slowly. Half a pump is about the right amount. The consistency isn’t that thick but neither is it runny like an emulsion or lotion.

My skin feels instantly softer and smoother but it’s not just short-term effects. I can feel the hydrating effects long after the Face Cream has been applied. It’s an above average Face Cream and I guess the best thing about it is the sunscreen. SPF 30 is about good enough for those who spend most of their day indoors.

First Aid Beauty 5 in 1 Face Cream SPF 30 is available exclusively at Sephora at RM144/50ml.
