Domino’s Blueberry Cheesecake Lava Cake Tastes Even Better Second Time Round

dsc_2305A few days ago, I ordered a meal from Domino’s and it includes drinks, garlic twisty bread, a regular pizza, stuffed cheddar bites and their latest dessert, blueberry cheesecake lava cake. For the pizza, I chose the Prawn Sensation as the description made it sound so good – succulent prawns, marinated in Italian herbs and spices, imported Belgian spinach, juicy cherry tomatoes and onions.

The thing about prawn pizzas though is that one should never have high expectations on the amount of prawns on said pizza. On this Domino’s Prawn Sensation pizza, there were on average one (almost) medium size prawn on each of the 6 slices. Prawns are expensive, I know. Still, the heart wants what the heart wants and I was wishing there were at least 2 per slice. Nevertheless, it was good and a welcome change from pizzas slathered with tomato paste.

dsc_2307I didn’t take a photo of the garlic twisty bread as that was a disappointment, too dry and doughy. However, the Stuffed Cheddar Bites were surprisingly good and rather addictive. They contain chicken pepperoni and cheddar cheese, I could have another tray of these.

dsc_2308The first time I tasted Domino’s Blueberry Cheesecake Lave Cake, it didn’t make that much of an impact on me but second time round, it tasted much better, perhaps because this time I had it piping warm. The cheese oozed out together with the luscious blueberry. Not for sharing, this one.
