FRESHLY PREPARED RAMADAN SPECIALS: Indulge in a selection of freshly prepared soups and salads to break your fast, including Gearbox soup, Ocean of Seafood (back by popular demand) and break your fast with warmth by choosing between the Crab Meat & Corn Cream Soup or Pumpkin & Spinach Soup, both crafted to nourish and delight. Indulge further at their Live Carving Station featuring freshly sliced Grilled Lamb that seasoned with Mahsuri marinates, and experience the distinct taste of our special “Locing Thai”.

Although the selection of dishes in this Ramadan buffet isn’t as wide as some other hotels, I enjoyed it thoroughly as every dish was quality. I’m one of those who prioritise quality over quantity as there is no point having over a hundred dishes if you only enjoy a few. At MiCasa All Suite Hotel though, the cafe has a more intimate setting and you are near the buffet wherever you may be seated. It’s actually good not to be overwhelmed by a mind-boggling number of choices as you wouldn’t be able to try everything anyway.
I particularly liked the Deep Fried Sweet Sour Fish but the Roasted Marinated Quail was a bit tough to eat. However, thumbs up to them for offering quail. Perhaps if it was cooked in sauce, it might be more tender. The Nasi Briyani was excellent and I just ate it on its own without any sauce. Special mention must be made about their Pumpkin & Spinach Soup of which I drank 2 bowls, so thick and yummy. Who knew pumpkin and spinach go so well together.
