Although I can safely say that I have used the majority of products in Shiseido’s White Lucent range, this is the first time I have used the Intensive Brightening Mask. It’s saturated with serum for concentrated brightening and hydrating. With continuous use, it is supposed to reduce the appearance of dark spots. It helps if you are also using the other products in the White Lucent range, I guess.
There are not that many sheet masks with flaps to cover the eyes, this is one of those masks. The mask isn’t thin, certainly not as thin as the newer My Beauty Diary masks. I wouldn’t say the mask was a perfect fit as the edges wouldn’t adhere properly which is another reason for using this mask in a lying down position, the other reason being that it has eye flaps.
It’s very soothing having the eyes covered as well. The instructions on the reverse of the packaging say that the mask should be left on for 10 minutes but who leaves such a pricey mask on for just 10 minutes? I’d use it for as long as possible to maximise its benefits.
After half an hour, the mask begins to dry up and it’s time to remove the mask. My skin looked moist and dewy, it had a glow as if I’d just had a facial. It’s a marvellous sheet mask which I’d use on a regular basis were it not for the fact that the price is more than a few times higher than your average drugstore sheet mask.
White Lucent Intensive Brightening Mask comes in a box of 6 for RM225, that’s RM42.50 per mask (ouchies!).
