Looking at Pop Beauty’s official website, it looks like the products are targeted towards younger ladies. The packaging looks sweet and fun, cute and bright. The Kits certainly look very interesting.
The Lollipop! Face Palette contains 4 eyeshadows, 1 blusher and 1 lip gloss. Basically, it’s all one needs for the face (other than powder). The eyeshadows are light and sheer neutral shades while the blusher and lip gloss are pink.
As the eyshadows are so small, it’s quite difficult to apply them with fingers. I’d recommend using an eyeshadow brush here. With fingers, I had to keep getting more eyeshadow out as once or twice just wasn’t enough. The eyeshadows are sheer and need several layers to show up on my eyelids. They are also not very pigmented, they are rather ordinary to me.
There is no plastic cover for the lip gloss so eyeshadows can easily transfer over. To avoid this from happening, I’ll probably have to use up the lip gloss quickly. The blusher and lip gloss are so pink, perhaps in keeping with the Lollipop theme.
The Face Palette consists of Cheek Powder (0.48g), Eye Shadow (4×0.54g) & Lip Gloss (0.22g). It’s really a mini palette, good for taking along on short trips as it weighs virtually nothing.
