We may not have the world famous Cirque du Soleil (yet) but we have something very close to it. LumiAir, a Cirque Sensation finally made its much anticipated debut at Ampitheatre Sunway Lagoon on Friday night delighting and thrilling the audience throughout the two-hour performance. Some of the moves had the audience gasping and one could appreciate the strength and agility of the performers. It must have taken years of training and practice to execute those incredible moves.
The production featured grand cirque style sequences using big apparatus for spectacular moves in the air and was drama-filled with breath-taking acrobatic ballet scenes, leaving everyone at the edge of their seats. The show also captivated the audience with scenes featuring lighting and magical illusions as well as intertwined with humorous breaks by the performers. Let’s just say it was an unforgettable experience for everyone in the audience.
Brought to life in an illusion of colour and vibrant energy, LumiAir is complemented with brilliant costumes, stunning scenery and state-of-the-art production – this is a performance unlike any other and will be enjoyed by the entire family, from young to old. It is always a great show to watch this kind of performance. I always admire their years of harsh training and perseverance before being able to perform on the stage. it always leave the me with admiration.
