So Cool : boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel

It has been so unbearably hot the past few months that I have been steering away from heavy moisturisers and creams which can literally melt off my skin especially when  used under make-up. Therefore, boscia’s Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel was like a godsend. Seriously, although we dry skin types need more moisturisation, applying a layer of thick cream moisturiser in our kind of weather isn’t so sweet and no, I don’t mean sweet as in sugary sweet.

So what’s special about boscia’s Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel? Another typical moisturiser? Nope, it’s more than that in every aspect from the packaging to dispensation to appearance to how it feels on my skin.

This gel moisturiser is inspired by advanced Japanese technology and provides an invigorating cooling feeling. The cap is taken off by simply pulling it off, no twisting required. The moisturiser is dispensed by gently pushing the top of the tub. A full pump will dispense quite a lot of product so you want to control how much comes out, depends on the amount you need. Some may prefer a more conventional pump so that the moisturiser doesn’t touch the top of the tub but I have no issues with this manner of dispensation.

It is an opaque grey-black with what looks like shimmery particles but once blended into skin, there is no added color nor shimmer to skin. I can’t describe how much I love the cool, tingling sensation of this moisturiser. Sure, it’s lightweight but the best thing about it is how wonderfully refreshing it feels. Although this is a gel texture, I do feel that it provides enough hydration for my skin.

The product is 100% artificial fragrance and color free which is amazing considering how beautifully scented this moisturiser is. I just want to slather on more for the scent but the more I apply, the more my skin tingles, not in a bad way though. I don’t have large pores so I can’t tell if this moisturiser works in minimizing the look of pores.

The Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel is part of boscia’s Black Collection which includes the best-selling Luminizing Black Mask, Pore Purifying Black Strips and No Pores, No Shine T-Zone Treatment.

boscia Revitalizing Black Hydration Gel is 30ml/RM132.
