Last week, I made an appointment at Estee Lauder, Isetan KLCC to learn more about the new Re-Nutriv Cremes – Replenishing Comfort Eye Creme & Replenishing Comfort Creme Light. These are the latest additions to the Re-Nutriv range which was introduced by Mrs. Estee Lauder in 1956.
In an era when even USD10 was regarded as a lot of money and which was the average price for a face cream, the first Re-Nutriv face cream cost what seemed like a fortune, USD115. This was, according to Mrs. Estee Lauder, a “goldmine of beauty”to bring out the best in her most discerning customers.
The Re-Nutriv Replenishing Comfort Collection is described as a “deep hydrating, age-resisting collection” which includes Omega3 Phyto Complex and exclusive Life Re-Newing Molecules™ to help repair, recharge and restore skin’s energized, radiant appearance.
Other key ingredients include Wolfberry, Reishi Mushroom Extract, Ginseng, Whey Protein and Vitamin C. Since I only have a 5ml and 3ml sample of the Replenishing Comfort Creme Light & Replenishing Comfort Eye Creme, I can’t comment on the long-term benefits of these products. However, I will say that these two have lightweight textures which should suit even those with oily skins. They also have rather pleasant scents with the Replenishing Comfort Creme Light scent being the stronger of the two.
