Tropicana & PropertyGuru team up
Tropicana Foundation, the community-focused arm of Tropicana Corporation Berhad, joined forces with PropertyGuru Group to launch Malaysia’s first corporate Pre-Loved Market, held from 20 to 22 October 2026 at PropertyGuru’s headquarters in The Gardens South Tower, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.
The three-day initiative brought employees together to donate, shop, and give pre-loved treasures a second life, introducing a meaningful approach to corporate sustainability, community participation, and charitable giving. By transforming the workplace into a platform for circular giving, the collaboration demonstrated how businesses could empower their employees to reduce waste while creating positive social impact.

For 2026, Tropicana Foundation aims to turn pre-loved treasures into meaningful impact by collecting more than 1,500 items, raising over RM10,000 for charity and diverting 300 kg of waste from landfills, with 100% of proceeds channelled towards supporting local charities and welfare homes.
Jac Ng, Country Head of Developer Sales, PropertyGuru & iProperty, said, “At PropertyGuru, we believe meaningful change begins with the collective actions of our people. This collaboration with Tropicana Foundation has allowed our employees to embrace sustainability in a practical and rewarding way, transforming everyday pre-loved items into resources that can benefit others.”
“By bringing this initiative directly into our workplace, we are encouraging a stronger culture of responsible consumption, teamwork and community giving. We hope this collaboration will inspire more corporations to empower their employees to make a positive difference, one small action at a time,” he added.

Ixora Ang, Managing Director of Marketing & Sales and Business Development of Tropicana, shared, “At Tropicana, sustainability and community building have always been integral to our philosophy of Redefining the Art of Living. Through Tropicana Foundation, we continue to strengthen our ESG commitments by creating meaningful partnerships that connect people, businesses and communities for a greater purpose. Our collaboration with PropertyGuru demonstrates how corporate partnerships can extend beyond business opportunities to generate positive environmental and social impact. As a gesture of appreciation, we are also pleased to extend exclusive homeownership privileges to participating PropertyGuru employees, offering an additional 5% corporate rebate on selected Tropicana properties, on top of applicable promotional rebates, subject to terms and conditions. This reflects our commitment to creating lasting value for our partners and their communities.”
Serena Lim, Senior General Manager of Group Corporate Communications, Marketing Communications, ESG, T360 Lifestyle and Programme Director of Tropicana Foundation, shared, “The idea behind our Pre-Loved Market is simple: what may no longer be useful to one person can become something valuable to another. We wanted to take this concept beyond traditional donation drives by creating an engaging corporate platform where employees can actively participate in the circular economy while supporting those in need. Every item donated, every purchase made, and every ringgit raised contributes towards reducing waste and uplifting vulnerable communities. Through Tropicana Foundation, we hope to expand this initiative to more corporate partners, encouraging a wider movement of responsible consumption, collective giving, and lasting social impact. This is what our Foundation’s philosophy, ‘Art of Living, Sharing & Caring’, truly represents.”

Building on the success of the previous year’s Pre-Loved Market, which collected and redistributed 774 items and diverted more than 190 kg of waste from landfills, this year’s initiative further reinforced the value of circular giving. Through the collective contributions of participating employees and community partners, the market highlighted how unwanted belongings could find renewed purpose while creating tangible social and environmental benefits.
Tropicana Foundation welcomes more corporate leaders, organisations and business partners to join this meaningful initiative, expanding its reach to more workplaces and communities across Malaysia. Through collective participation, the Foundation aims to champion responsible consumption, reduce environmental waste and channel greater support towards underprivileged communities and welfare homes.
