BonusLink Launches Travel Platform, Giving Malaysians A Faster Way To Earn Points

BonusLink has officially launched BonusLink Travel, a dedicated hotel booking platform that gives members a new way to accelerate their BonusLink Points earning simply by booking their hotel stays. 

Available via the BLINK app and BonusLink website, members can earn up to 12 BonusLink Points for every RM1 spent on completed hotel bookings, turning one of their bigger travel expenses into an opportunity to build up Points significantly faster for future rewards, everyday savings and experiences across the wider BonusLink ecosystem, including towards petrol at Shell, allowing members to turn travel spending into savings on expenses they face every day

Members also have the flexibility to use their existing BonusLink Points towards the cost of their hotel bookings, either partially or in full, bringing Points earning and redemption together within the same travel experience. 

Members can get their first look at BonusLink Travel at the BonusLink Roadshow, taking place from 3 to 6 September at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, where they can explore the new platform and discover exclusive travel rewards, including limited edition Blinkie merch and travel vouchers.

How BonusLink Travel works 

• Earn while you travel – Members earn up to 12 BonusLink Points for every RM1 spent on completed hotel bookings, helping them build their Points balance faster through higher-value travel spending. For example, a RM1,000 booking at the maximum earning rate could earn 12,000 Points, equivalent to RM120 in rewards value.

• Redeem towards your stay – Members can use their BonusLink Points to offset hotel booking costs at checkout, either partially or in full, giving them complete flexibility over how they use their rewards. 

• Put those Points to work – Points earned through BonusLink Travel can be used across the wider BonusLink ecosystem, giving members more value beyond the trip itself through rewards, vouchers and everyday savings.
• Discover where Malaysians are travelling – Early booking trends have shown strong interest in destinations including Bangkok, Da Nang, Bali, Istanbul, New York and Kuala Lumpur, reflecting Malaysians’ growing appetite for both regional getaways and long-haul holidays.
