The 2026 edition promises as the same challenging route from Bentong to the apex of Genting Highlands, with total elevation of over 1,800m over 55km, making it the highest amateur cycling climb in Southeast Asia.

The Launch of KOM Genting Highlands 2026 & Appreciation Ceremony Honouring HYROX Chengdu Podium Winners was graced by YB Tuan Mordi Anak Bimol, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia together with Encik Riduwan Matni, CEO of MUSE Group Sdn Bhd, organiser of King of Mountain (KOM), and Dato’ Sri Vincent Tiew, Executive Director of KL Wellness City and leader of the KLWC Athlete Team, who jointly officiated the launch and celebrations ceremony.
