Malaysian natural self-care and aromatherapy brand Claire Organics officially opened its latest flagship store at 1 Utama Shopping Centre, marking a major milestone in its 14-year journey. The grand opening drew a strong turnout of business partners, media representatives, bloggers, content creators, loyal customers and friends of the brand. Numerous congratulatory floral stands surrounded the store, reflecting the goodwill and strong relationships Founder Louise Chu has built within the business community over the years. Guests were welcomed with refreshments and drinks before the official ceremony began promptly at 12:00 PM.

A Meaningful Family Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Louise, Chief Operating Officer Kirstie Chu, Louise’s younger sister, and members of their family. The moment carried deep significance as Claire Organics was founded out of Louise’s love for her family and named after her daughter, Claire. Louise became visibly emotional during the ceremony as she embraced her parents and thanked them for their patience, understanding and unwavering support throughout her entrepreneurial journey.
“Claire Organics began with love for my daughter, but it was the love and strength of my family that helped me continue. Today, I am not cutting this ribbon alone. I am cutting it with the people who carried this dream with me.”
The family completed the official ribbon cutting together, symbolising the beginning of a new chapter for Claire Organics.

Double Recognition at the SOBA Awards
A major surprise of the day was the presentation of two honours from the Star Outstanding Business Awards, or SOBA Awards:
● Gold Award for Best in E-Retail
● Silver Award for Best Green Initiative
The Gold Award recognised Claire Organics’ achievements in digital retail and customer engagement, while the Silver Award acknowledged the brand’s ongoing commitment to sustainability and greener business practices. The presentation became especially meaningful when Louise’s parents were invited on stage to personally present the trophies and certificates to her.
“To receive these awards from my parents, who have witnessed every challenge and every step forward, means more to me than words can express,” Louise shared.
The emotional presentation became one of the most memorable moments of the opening ceremony.

Discover Malaysia by Claire
In conjunction with Visit Malaysia 2026, Claire Organics also launched Discover Malaysia by Claire, a limited-edition designer perfume collection inspired by six Malaysian destinations:
● Citrus Bloom, Penang – A radiant citrus floral inspired by Penang’s sunlit charm and living heritage.
● Urban Musk, Kuala Lumpur – A musky woody scent capturing the city’s modern pulse and quiet sensuality.
● Vetiver Rain, Sabah – A fresh earthy scent inspired by rainforest mist and Sabah after rain.
● Tea Whisper, Cameron Highlands – A delicate tea floral reflecting the misty calm of the highlands.
● Sunny Sea, Langkawi – A glowing solar aquatic inspired by salty breezes and island freedom.
● Nyonya Heirloom, Malacca – A warm floral spice amber honouring Peranakan heritage and timeless elegance.
Six destinations. Six stories. Six emotions bottled in scent.
The collection celebrates Malaysia through heritage streets, city lights, rainforest rain, tea mist, island sun and treasured traditions.

Three Days of Opening Activities
The grand opening celebration continued from 10 to 12 July with three public activities, each limited to the first 100 participants.
Day One featured a complimentary DIY aromatherapy perfume workshop. Day Two offered Pure Lavender Essential Oil at RM1, while Day Three invited customers to exchange an empty full-size wellness, skincare or aromatherapy bottle for a full-size mystery gift. All three activities received an enthusiastic response, with long queues forming around the flagship store.
Customers who spent RM199 also received a complimentary limited-edition Malaysia perfume and a lucky draw entry, with a GINTELL massage chair as the grand prize alongside other rewards.
A New Chapter for Claire Organics
The 1 Utama flagship store has been created as more than a retail outlet. It will serve as a self-care experience space for product discovery, aromatherapy education, workshops, VIP events and community activities. With the opening of its first flagship store, two SOBA Awards and the launch of its first Malaysia-inspired designer perfume collection, Claire Organics continues to strengthen its position as a homegrown Malaysian brand built on family, innovation, sustainability and kindness.
