Giant Bandar Kinrara Hosts Auspicious Yee Sang Tossing Ceremony To Celebrate Unity, Prosperity And Collaboration

Giant Bandar Kinrara, under the management of GCH Retail Malaysia Sdn Bhd, successfully hosted a festive Yee Sang Tossing Ceremony on 5 February 2026, bringing together community leaders, government representatives, business partners, media, and stakeholders to usher in the Lunar New Year with hopes of prosperity, harmony, and continued collaboraton.

The ceremony was graced by Yang Berhormat ADUN Bandar Kinrara, Ng Sze Han, alongside Pegawai Khas Puan Rachel Lee, Ahli-Ahli Majlis Puan Jen Lee, Puan Ng Seow Chen, and Encik Mehanatan, SUK Representative Encik Afiq Aziz, senior management of GCH Retail Malaysia Sdn Bhd, as well as representatives from mainstream media, KOLs, business partners, and the Giant Bandar Kinrara management team.

The event symbolised more than a traditional celebration, it reflected Giant Bandar Kinrara’s commitment to fostering strong relationships within the community while strengthening partnerships that contribute to a vibrant and sustainable retail ecosystem.

In her opening address, Madam Rebecca Phan, Head of Leasing and Business Development of GCH Retail Malaysia Sdn Bhd, shared that the Yee Sang ceremony represents shared aspirations for growth and success.

Beyond celebration tradition, today’s event reflects our belief in unity, collaboration and shared prosperity. At Giant Bandar Kinrara, we look forward to working closely with our stakeholders, partners, and the local community to create meaningful engagements and long-term value,” she said.

The Yee Sang Tossing Ceremony commenced with welcoming remarks, followed by a vibrant drum performance to set and auspicious tone for the celebration. This was complemented by an opening address from the management of GCH Retail Malaysia Sdn Bhd, a group photo session with honoured guests and stakeholders, and the highlight of the event, the Yee Sang Tossing ceremony, symbolising prosperity, unity and shared success. The celebration concluded with an energetic acrobatic lion dance performance featuring a horse mascot at the outdoor car park, adding to the festive atmosphere and making a positive start to the year ahead at Giant Bandar Kinrara.

Guant Bandar Kinrara remains committed to serving the local community while working hand in hand with partners, tenants, and authorities to introduce more collaborative initiatives, events, and engagements that enhance the overall shopping experience.
