Experience The Beauty Of Hong Kong Unfold In Malaysia At “Immersive Hong Kong” Exhibition

Ms Stella Chui, Chief Information Services Officer of the Information Services Department (ISD) shared that the Immersive Hong Kong Exhibition in Malaysia marks the third leg of the exhibition in the ASEAN community

Malaysians and friends can now delve into the essence of Hong Kong and witness its iconic developments through the “Immersive Hong Kong” exhibition. Running until 10 March 2024 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, the “Immersive Hong Kong” exhibition promises to define Hong Kong as the ultimate choice of travel destination, be it for business or pleasure.

Organised by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government’s Information Services Department (ISD), Malaysia marks the third leg of the exhibition in the ASEAN community following successful stops in Jakarta, Indonesia and Bangkok, Thailand in July and October 2023 respectively. Themed “Hong Kong – Where the World Looks Ahead”, this exhibition highlights the city’s unique strengths, advantages and opportunities, encouraging friends in the region not only for tourism but also to explore limitless business prospects in Hong Kong.

Visitors to the Immersive Hong Kong Exhibition can enjoy five different thematic zones, such as “Financial Bridgehead”, “I&T Brain Bank”, “Blossoming Creativity”, “Diversity and Greenery” and “Buzzing Sports Action”

This unprecedented showcase allows visitors to virtually immerse themselves in different visuals representing the city with a creative twist. The five thematic zones, namely “Financial Bridgehead”, “I&T Brain Bank”, “Blossoming Creativity”, “Diversity and Greenery” and “Buzzing Sports Action” feature multiple interactive art projections, lightbox installations and naked eye 3D displays, presenting the multifaceted appeal of Hong Kong.

According to Ms Stella Chui, Chief Information Services Officer (Overseas Public Relations) of the Information Services Department, “We are thrilled to bring Hong Kong to Malaysia, where the exhibition not only showcases to the Malaysian community the unique attractions of Hong Kong as an ever-evolving cosmopolitan city but also demonstrates the creativity and characters of the city. With complimentary entrance for all, visitors can expect to enjoy a new experience featuring Hong Kong’s latest developments and diverse facets it has to offer.”

The Immersive Hong Kong Exhibition will run from now until 10 March 2024 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil

Visitors can also enjoy the vibrant and colourful skyline of Hong Kong, illustrated by Hong Kong artist, Messy Desk (Jane Lee) (https://www.instagram.com/messydesks) at a photo corner in the venue. Promotional videos on Hong Kong and digital panels with information and sharing by ASEAN companies and talents about their experience in Hong Kong are also on display, showing visitors what makes the city one of the most desirable places to visit, live, work, and invest.

“We also acknowledge the strong ties between Malaysia and Hong Kong, united by common values and visions. This synergy makes Hong Kong an ideal city not only for leisure travel but also for entrepreneurs and business owners to explore business expansion opportunities, especially considering the access it provides to the market of Mainland China. With the “Immersive Hong Kong” exhibition in Malaysia, visitors can delve into the vast opportunities presented by Hong Kong’s remarkable developments over the years, and all the attractions which make living and working in the cosmopolitan city an extraordinary experience like no other,” Ms Chui added.
