Juniper’s Jaunt To Farm In The City Seri Kembangan

With Dato’ Allan Phoon, Founder & CEO of Farm In The City Seri Kembangan

It’s been decades since I visited any zoo or been around animals other than dogs and cats so when the opportunity to visit Farm In The City Seri Kembangan came up, I didn’t hesitate to accept the invitation. Farm In The City is surprisingly not that far from Pavilion Bukit Jalil and a lot more enjoyable than I expected.

Farm In The City is a petting zoo where visitors get really up close and personal with the creatures from around the world. When I got there around 10am, the queue to the entrance was super long. You get to feed all kinds of animals and you’ll end up taking dozens of photos because every animal there is interesting.

My favourite was the parrot named Ben
Kids loved touching the tortoises
With one of the best staff there, Fatin
You can feed these animals
Colourful parrots which you can feed
Watch out for ducks crossing
The alpaca is camouflaged
Giant raccoons are one of the biggest draws
Pigeons have a nice big coop
Doe-a-deer
The kids love feeding rabbits
1st time I have seen a pink buffalo
This is such a great place to spend the whole day

I thoroughly enjoyed the morning till afternoon spent at Farm In The City 2 Saturdays ago. It was the most fun I have had in a long time interacting with some animals and watching animals interact with other visitors. The staff there are really nice and friendly. I wouldn’t mind another visit there in the near future as I got to learn a bit more about animals during my time there.
