Yet I’m wondering how the angpow from banks, supermarket, hypermarket, clothing chain will looks like since we are a multi racial country. Perhaps they will print on cartoon style pig like the Peppa pig or Piglet from Winnie The Pooh.
The ang pows from banks and other establishments won’t have a piggy image, I’m quite sure of that. The only ang pows with piggy images are the ones we have to spend money on. I have seen quite a lot of piggy t-shirts at pasar malam and clothing stores in Berjaya Times Sq, some of which are really cute. Piglet has also been on some t-shirts but alongside his other friends from WTP. Personally I think piggy is a cute animal which reflects well in cartoons/caricatures.
