There are some BB Creams which only offer minimal/low coverage which makes me wonder why bother to use them at all. After all the whole point about using BB Creams is you want something natural to enhance your skin tone, not as heavy coverage as foundations although the new generation of foundations seem to be as light as BB Creams but that’s for another day.
So I have THEFACESHOP’s Power Perfection BB Cream SPF37/PA++ in Natural Beige which is the second shade. The lightest shade is Light Beige but I think that one is only for the extremely fair. Natural Beige suits me fine.
The consistency of this BB Cream is not too thick, easy to blend without caking. It offers anti-wrinkle, whitening and sun protection. Sun protection I can understand and accept but I am always skeptical at make-up that offers anti-wrinkle and whitening properties. Nothing beats using skincare and a healthy lifestyle for having less wrinkles and brighter skin.
Now this is a BB Cream I actually like as it offers medium coverage and makes my skin look better, there’s a slight radiance and it feels moisturising. I could so use this BB Cream in place of my foundation.
