With the Recovery Movement Control Order (RMCO) in full effect, Sunway Pyramid is bringing the mall to shoppers who still prefer to get their essentials from home with an expansion of their ‘Order and Collect’ campaign.
Previously a ‘drive-thru’ initiative where shoppers can call ahead of time to make their orders and collect them at designated stations, this new and improved ‘Order and Collect’ campaign will allow shoppers to enjoy food delivery from 40 participating food and beverage retailers and more to come in Sunway Pyramid in just one order and one delivery charge.
From 25 June 2020 to 17 July 2021, shoppers can order anything from an inviting bowl of noodles, crispy snacks, desserts and their favourite cuppa in one delivery from www.sunwaypyramid.com. Participating retailers include Genki Sushi, Village Roast Duck, Krispy Kreme, TGI Fridays, Wagyu More, Ippudo Ramen, Putien, Garrett Popcorn as well as gourmet food and beverages from Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa, with more to be added to the list soon.
Simply log on to Sunway Pyramid’s website and select the food items they would like to order. Shoppers are encouraged to place their orders one hour in advance to allow adequate time for food preparation and delivery – after which they can sit back, relax and enjoy their freshly prepared food and satisfy their cravings without having to step out of the house.
As an added bonus for shoppers who use the ‘Order and Collect’ service within the first month, they can enjoy free delivery from 25 June to 26 July 2020 with a minimum spend of RM20, receive 5X Sunway Pals points and RM5 promo code off their bill.
Sunway Pyramid’s Chief Operating Officer, Kevin Tan explains that the service was introduced to address customers’ concerns on their wellbeing and safety, as well as providing them peace of mind to enjoy their favourite food and beverages.
This ‘Order and Collect’ initiative is also made possible with local delivery partner MatDespatch that will be managing the deliveries from the mall to the shopper. MatDespatch will carry out all deliveries in accordance to stringent safety and hygiene practices as mandated for all food and beverage items.
Currently, delivery is available within Klang Valley. Delivery rates begin at RM7 and are subject to increase depending on the customer’s location, with the shipping rates calculated and shown at checkout.
This new campaign will first be introduced in Sunway Pyramid, with plans to introduce similar initiatives throughout the other Sunway Malls within this year and 2021. For shoppers who would still like to pick up their orders at the ‘Order and Collect’ stations outside the mall, they can still do so as the stations will still remain in use.
