It’s very interesting how make-up can transform people and it doesn’t even have to take long. Professional make-up artists can make a person look completely different from their normal selves in just a few minutes. It is amazing what make-up can do!
Last night, shu uemura showcased their latest make-up collection, Brave Beauty through a showcase presented by the shuATELIER Malaysia team that comprises of 10 shu uemura make-up artists headed by Lisa Yap, one of only 9 shu Elite Artists in the world and Education Manager of shu uemura Malaysia.
In 2013 – the year of shu uemura’s 30th anniversary and the launch of a new store concept that reinforced shu uemura’s expertise in color and professionalism – shu uemura also launched a new creative force: shu uemura Atelier. Directed by shu uemura’s international artistic director, Uchiide, shu uemura Atelier is comprised of a new generation of make-up artists, the disciples of Mr. Shu Uemura. they are at the forefront of the brand’s artistic expression.
In 2014, the vision of beauty collection debuts as the first edition of a new annual project by shuuemura ATELIER to express shu uemura’s new vision and endless pioneering spirit. The Vision of Beauty Collection is conceived to present shu uemura ATELIER’s holistic vision of beauty to make a more captivating statement than ever.
Every year, under an inspiring new theme, Vision of Beauty collection takes on two formats: beauty collection, a range of covetable all-encompassing beauty products, and artist edition, a special collectible piece of art developed by Uchiide that further explores of the yearly theme with creative audacity.
Brave Beauty Collection consists of:-
Eye Palettes (pink, green and orange) RM198 – six eyeshadow shades ranging from easy-to-wear pearl neutrals to eye-catching matte artists shades.
Satin Radiant Stick (light pink and bronze gold highlight & pink and orange coral blush) RM140 – highlight and cheek color stick that offers a satin-like radiant color.
Soft Gel Drawing Pencil (green, violet and wine) RM85 – ultra smooth eye liner pencil with a waterproof, tear proof 12hr smudge proof gel formula.
Rouge Unlimited (maroon, beige, fuchsia, rose, red, orange) RM78 – limited edition shades with signature hybrid pigment.
Brave Beauty False Eyelashes RM85 – sleek black false lashes with metal chain band for a warrior-chic look.
Face Studs RM65 – punk-chic jewelry reinvented for the face.
Brow:Ink Liquid Eyebrow (tawny gold, honey glaze, palm beige, ash brown) RM100 – 24hr long-lasting brow ink.
Artist Edition RM2000 – an art piece created with Uchiide’s boundless creativity in a limited edition of 500 pieces. Includes extravagant couture lashes:-

and a visual book in a premium acrylic box. If I had these, I wouldn’t even wear them as I will be sweating nervously every time I peel them off my eyelids!
