Phyto haircare has a very good reputation, I see them prominently displayed at Guardian KLCC. They’re not that affordable as other brands but this is considered high end haircare. Each bottle of shampoo/conditioner can cost as much as RM100 so when I saw Phyto Phytolisse Straightening Shampoo on sale at Isetan KLCC months ago, I picked it up for RM28. I have serious frizzy hair issues.
Phyto Phytolisse Straightening Shampoo is a shampoo that expedites blow-drying while protecting hair from humidity. It contains extracts of hibiscus and calendula flower to intensely hydrate and soften hair while smoothing down the cuticle for added shine. Pine pulp expedites blow-drying and protects hair from humidity.
This is a creamy, nicely scented shampoo which lathers up very well. I like the feel of the bottle, not cheap plastic, feels sturdy and like an expensive shampoo (it is!). I wouldn’t agree that it detangles well because I still need conditioner.
As for expediting blow-drying, still same amount of time to blow-dry my hair and it doesn’t have much effect in taming frizz. I still have to apply the straightening cream and use a hair straightener to get the results I want.
