The most magical toy shop in the land has officially opened. That’s right, Hamleys Malaysia’s flagship store opening was officiated this afternoon by The Group Deputy Managing Director of Ludendo Groups, Mr. Rudolph Hidalgo, Chief Executive Officer of Hamleys. Mr. Gudjon Reynisson, Acting British High Commissioner to Malaysia, Mr. Ray Kyles, Chairman of GRV Toy Store Sdn. Bhd., Dato’ Ishak bin Osman and Directors of GRV Toy Store Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Kim Manaf and Ms. Noor Azlin.
Also present at the official opening ceremony were Hamley and Hattie Bear and the Ringmaster who gave that extra British touch to the proceedings.
It’s certainly a wonderful toy shop with every variety of toy imaginable. I was walking through the shop when I encountered the Air Blaster. I stopped in my tracks for a strong blast of air. Very cooling especially on a particularly hot day!
These Smurf figurines are what I’d buy if I was a teen all over again as I was such a big Smurfs fan.
The layout of the shop is spacious and there are toys for children of all ages.
Now this section is for adults too! Look at the candy and popcorn.
I met my most favourite singer in Malaysia, the always elegant and beautiful Ms. Sheila Majid.
Hamleys Malaysia’s flagship outlet is located at F319, 1st Floor, 1Utama Shopping Mall.
