Can’t remember when was the last time I applied nail polish on my own as I prefer gel polish nowadays. Recently I found Maybelline Color Show Nail Polish Blackcurrant in a forgotten stash and I thought this is such a pretty pastel purple/lilac shade. This one has a gel-based formula so you can expect it to not chip as quickly as the average nail polish.
The first two coats are rather sheer so I had to keep applying which can make it a bit streaky and takes longer to dry. The brush is the right size so applying is hassle-free and relatively easy. I like the shade and the fact that it’s very smooth and glossy. It’s a good quality nail polish & longer lasting than I expected.
