When I was trying out the MAC Dazzleshadows from Le Disko Collection, I realized I needed an eyeshadow base or primer as the Dazzleshadows needed to adhere better to my eyelids so I took out MAC Prep + Prime 24 Hour Extend Eye Base, specially formulated to prolong the look of your eye makeup.
This primer is designed to keep eye makeup looking fresh and vibrant all day. This innovative new formula saves shadows from creasing and fading, while allowing hues to stay colour-true for up to a full day, not that I have worn eyeshadow for a full 24 hours to test that claim.
It goes on very smoothly without dragging eyelids and you can see the shade of Dazzleshadow is slightly stronger and more intense when applied over the MAC Prep + Prime 24 Hour Extend Eye Base. I wore it from morning to evening and there was no smudging, fading or fall-out.
