Any beauty brand that comes up with a make-up collection for Chinese New Year is sure to have the products in red since that’s the colour everyone associates with that festive season. I just had a look at MAC Lucky Red Collection which anyone can guess is their CNY collection.
There’re 5 shades of red lipsticks, two of them are new (Lotus Light and Lucky In Love), other products include a Powder Blush Duo and Powder/Blush Brush with black and red bristles (hopefully the red bristles won’t fade after cleaning the brush). The Powder/Blush Brush is rather pricey (retails at RM170). At that kind of price, I could get a whole set of brushes elsewhere but it’s a collectible item,
