Juniper
There are many variations of red lipsticks among MAC’s permanent collection and with so many choices, sometimes good finds are over looked. I just discovered MAC House Wine Lipstick which has a lustre texture, it’s a bit on the sheer side which means having to apply a few layers if you want a stronger finish but it’s quite moisturizing so dry lips need not fear.
This is an extremely wearable shade of red wine/plum (not too bright!) and I’d say it has brown undertones too. It has some shine and is fairly long-lasting but definitely needs re-application after a meal.
