How about a Halloween look for the guys? Well incidentally, MAC has just the look for guys who intend to dress up as tribal warriors this Halloween. Imagine this look on a guy wearing nothing but a loincloth and holding a spear. Okay, I had better get on with the details of this look before I let my imagination carry me away to Zululand.
The Tribal Warrior look is created by Shahrum, MAC Cosmetics’ Special Events Artist. It focuses on shading and contouring. The look is edgy rather than colourful. Notice how there appear to be various hues of brown and earth tones on the model’s face.
Shahrum began by spraying Fix + all over the model’s face, applied Mineralize Skinfinish Foundation and set with Careblend Pressed Powder. He worked with several shades of sculpting powders for contouring, shading and finishing. 3 shades of foundation were used – NC20, NW30 & NW50.
Before the rest of the eye products were applied, Shahrum used Painterly Paint Pot as base. Light to medium earth tone eyeshadows were then applied and blended with #226 brush. Carbon eyeshadow was applied to the bottom lids. Blacktrack Fluidline was applied to the eyebrows for a sharp and defined look. On lips, Taupe and Smolder Eye Kohl Pencils were used.
