Part of the L’Oreal Professionnel Liss Unlimited range, the SOS Smooth Double Serum promises 4 days of frizz-free hair. It is a watery serum which isn’t sticky or greasy. It has a double chamber exactly like what you see in Clarins Double Serum. The formula is enriched with Pro-Keratin and Kukui and Evening Primrose Oils.
The reason why there are 2 separate chamber is to enable the two different phases (one enriched with new smoothing silicon and one enriched with starch) to melt at the last moment to protect their active ingredients. This is the first time I’ve seen a double chamber hair product.
It didn’t give me 4 days of smooth hair. My hair stayed smooth for just one day. In fact, the Liss Unlimited Smoothing Cream had a longer smoothing effect so this SOS Smooth Double Serum has a very short term effect on my hair. This Double Serum can be used on dry or wet hair.
