Lamb Weston, a leading global frozen potato supplier, brought its “We’re Potato Obsessed” philosophy to life at an exclusive media tasting event: Rasa Bersama in Malaysia, giving a first-hand experience of its restaurant-quality fries now available in local retail stores.
The event began with a presentation by Vicky Mukhi, Commercial Director, South East Asia, Lamb Weston, who shared the brand’s global journey and long‐standing commitment to delivering restaurant‐quality fries to Malaysian homes.
This was followed by a product showcase led by Evelynn Ng, Commercial Manager, Retail & Food Service, Malaysia and Singapore, who walked guests through Lamb Weston’s new retail range and how it is designed to fit into everyday Malaysian mealtimes, from quick snacks to family gatherings.

During her session, Evelynn introduced six distinct fry cut styles now available in Malaysia, each crafted to deliver crispy perfection every time, whether prepared in an air fryer or oven. She highlighted their unique textures, versatility and easy preparation, showing how simple it is to recreate restaurant-style fries at home:

Each fry is coated with Lamb Weston’s exclusive Stealth™ batter, an invisible, innovative coating that locks in crispiness for up to twice as long as uncoated fries -whether cooked in the oven or air fryer. All products are Halal-certified, vegan, and gluten-free, catering to diverse dietary preferences. To round off the afternoon, the session concluded with a live cooking demonstration by Chef Elwin, Culinary Director of Kiam Sng Di and the Vice-President of Singapore Chef’s Association, who prepared festive, sharing-friendly dishes featuring Lamb Weston fries, inspired by upcoming celebrations and family gatherings. Sustainability at the core Lamb Weston goes beyond product innovation with its sustainable packaging; the new retail packs are 20% thinner and contain at least 60% bio-renewable polyethylene made from used cooking oil. This initiative supports the company’s global sustainability targets to halve food waste and reduce carbon emissions by 25% by 2033.
