For Fall/Winter 2018, designer Khoon Hooi presents a collection that embodies modern royal style. The signature brand DNA of volume, feather finishing and intricate embroidery are present in a collection that is opulent in its use of jeweled-tone fabrics. Regal in every way, the KHOON HOOI Fall/Winter 2018 collection offers structured dresses in rich brocades, ornate tailored coats and cocktail dresses embellished with diamantes and pearl beads, while gold applique on military touches evokes royal grandeur.
A stately twist on the familiar boxy silhouette KHOON HOOI is known for, standout pieces are the majestic Elizabeta – a caped gown with bateau neckline and cummerbund waist encrusted with diamantes and pearls; and the Lydia ‘Romanov teal’ brocade top with matching Valery full-bodied midi skirt that is completed with a feathered detachable peplum.
Daytime pieces include a sophisticated balloon sleeve fuchsia blouse paired with signature palazzo pants, and a sheer blouson in royal blue.
